Afro Renaissance Questions Stereotypes and Cultural Influences

Two artists, Steve Ogallo and ‘Native Nairobi’ put together some amazing and mind-boggling content in both a book and mixed media exhibition. They called the Afro Renaissance. The show is about rebirth of African culture, undoing the belief that we are backward and primitive and discarding stereotypes. See some of the artworks and photographs that were exhibited at the show at Alliance Francais de Nairobi in August 2018.
